No bullshark dive
Today we were supposed to go diving with bullsharks! But it where cancelled because of the weather. I guess that was good anyway because most of the people here are having a hangover from yesterday. The weather is still bad so we can not go diving so far so we have just been doing some beach cleaning and walked on the beach, tanned and so on...
Now I am in Playa, I am hoping to find some hammocks to bring back home, they are so unbelievable nice!! ;D Then we are going to have some Margaritas on the beach, I am the only one that still haven't got one here yet.
The other night did we have some Swedish Glogg here. It was really nice, a swedish couple had brought glogg spices and we bought wine and thay made it here on base and served it with almonds and raisans of course=) And this morning, (i woke up 6.00 as usually, no matter what time I am going to bed) I had some time to do swedish pancakes!!
Because of the bad weather that kept us off diving we have not been able to fullfilled our training yet so we will not have the time to start monitoring here in Pez Maya. We got and offered that we could start collecting data about corals if we felt like we wanted to contribute with something but then it feels like all this hard work with learning fishes and juveniles and sizeing has been for nothing so we'll see what happends the rest of our stay here. The last day by the way was amazing! We went to a place called Special K, and it's a little bit deeper than the other locations that we are monitoring. But the reef here is really beautiful and you can see lots of fishes and funny and weird creatures.
